THE LATEST UPDATE: THIS GIRL IS GOING OFF INSULIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There is one week before my daughter's wedding and all has been taken care of. She has gotten all the paper work in. I am getting my self ready and will see about helping her out. She has to teach her father the Texas two step which will be their father daughter dance. She wanted something different for them with a Texas flair to it. Also, my honey has two left feet so she thought he could do this better than a waltz. This still should be amusing to watch. P. does not and never has danced in his entire life. Daughter will come over this weekend an attempt to teach him. This week I have 3 PT, 1 DR, and 1 hair appointment. Then I have errands that are related to getting everything ready for the trip. I will try to visit people when I can. I also want to get in some treadmill action to keep my legs strong. I'm off right now, to the Dr. visit to check my blood work and diabetes today.

Just back from the doctor.
I AM GOING OFF INSULIN !!!!!!!!! Or at least going to give it a try this week. He gave me another pill to add to Januvia and told me to take off the for a week and see what happens. I am to take it with me on the trip in case I need to go back on it. OK FOLKS, 1 and 20 type two insulin patients get this opportunity according to him. I am one in a 20 to make it this far. He said don't eat those sugar free deserts at the wedding. Keep doing what I am doing.
My cholesterol was 159, A1c 5.8, BP was too low so he is changing my med to another medication, Triglycerides were normal range, LDL right in the middle of normal.
