View MOUGHI's food & exercise for this day

I went shopping yesterday and found out my pant size. I am a 16 womans or a 18 misses short. Considering when I started out I was a womans 24 at Catherine's the in the BIG Womans's store and could not shop in regular department stores, I consider this a welcome change. I finally made it into the regular department stores. Now, I am actually between the womans department and the misses department too. I will probably always be a 1x in shirts as already discussed because of my shoulders and left over skin under neath my arms, but that is ok. I could still go down in pant size since I have 15 more pounds to shed and a lot more muscle tone to improve upon. I even think that might happen in my arms some, but am not expecting that much to change the skin problem under them since I have age working there too. I was pleasantly surprise to also learn I could fit into that pair of 14 pants I had bought earlier in the summer this year when I bought my daughter's wedding outfit. Remember when I bought two pairs of pants ? well, I now fit into that second pair. Rat's, it's after the wedding of course by two weeks ! Anyway, the pants I bought this weekend should last me 4 - 6 months depending on how fast I lose the next ten pounds. Then this should be the last time I will have to buy clothes for down sizing purposes. It actually gets old having to explain to my husband why I need new clothes when in my entire marriage he married someone who only went clothes shopping maybe once a year if that much. You heard me. I am not one to like to go shopping, even when I was thin. My mother used to have to drag me to go shopping.
I feel rested since I took this week off from doing things. I really did. I didn't blog, log, but slept and took it easy after my surgery this week end except for the shopping day with hubby. I realized I needed a lot of catch up sleep and it felt good since I haven't been sleeping well lately. I did keep to some sort of diet in my head since my diet is a habit and routine now. A lot of how I eat is automatic now. I did do one thing. I got rid of the dog's marshmallows. They got over heated in my pantry and she wouldn't eat the mushy ones. Picky dog. So I did because I'm not that picky. She wouldn't take her meds in the mushy marshies and I hand to give her meds to to her the old fashioned way. Then I thought, if she is not going to take her meds in marshies anymore, why not get rid of my temptation. I found a new treat to give her after giving her, her meds. I found some sweet potato chews which she likes even better. These I will have no trouble not wanting to get into. So, by by marshies and no more sweetie temptation for Lory to worry about. Of course, I am sure I will find something to tempt me, but for now, there is no junk food in this house now.
Talk to everyone Monday.

Glad you took care of yourself and got rested. I enjoy shopping but I rarely get the opportunity to get to a mall or department store so I shop online quite a bit. I can't do that right now because I am changing too much and I end up sending too much back. My dog loves sweet potato treats too.

whooo hooo for out with the sweet temptation! good for you! thanks for the comment from your hubby :blush4: yes, they may be smaller but there is still enough of them :cool1: I am cautiously optimistic that all will be well on Tuesday -- I'm just trying not to be too confident about it.
