When I went to see my dietitian, Ann, yesterday one of the topics was whether or not to continue to keep losing weight down to 135. I have been on this journey for a long time and have already met all of my medical goals now as well as gotten down to a pretty decent weight now. By all accounts everyone tells me that I have the right to be satisfied with the weight I am now and I look good enough to stop now if I want to. off to see my dietitian

Today I go see my dietitian in hopes to get some answers that I need about my diet and motivation. Ann got me started on my journey some months ago and has always steered me back on course when ever I got off. I have some questions about plateaus and eating protein, exercise calories, and a few how to count this and that stuff that she could help me out with. food pushers and hurricane foods

Have you ever had someone keep offering you food after you told them you don't eat want something or you don't or can't eat something ? I have this situation in my Bible study group that tickles me because I just realized after reading the chapter in the Beck book that this is what I am facing, a food pusher. It goes like this, after every Bible study our group has a refreshment time where someone brings something to eat. Usually they bring desert of some kind. I have chosen not not to eat any ...

ho hum saturday

It's a ho hum Saturday. I am being lazy while my hubby is getting ready for a car rally tomorrow. He is going to race his car around these cones and see how fast he can go. i think I will go watch and listen to all the cars screech and screal. Maybe I can take pointers on how to avoid a take out from someone on the road. Last Sunday on my way to church someone tried to share my lane with me and knocked me off the road. :bang: grrr The person next to her moved over onto her lane and she did the same ...

diet blahs

Ok, I had the diet blahs as well as a bad cold. I decided to call my dietitian and set an appointment today to go over some things I need to check up on in order to get over this slump I feel I am in. When ever I go to her not only do I get some extra knowledge that I need, but I usually get that extra ump from her to push myself. I feel I need some questions answered as well as her ump. I just can't really explain why I have the blahs, but I do.
