I'm finding I need to get some of my diet skills oiled and refreshed having not disciplined myself for the past few months. Yesterday I had a perfect night going until late. Then I got hungry and blew it. I need to remember hunger is not an emergency and I can go to bed with a few hunger pains. This won't hurt me. My blood sugar was fine. What was worse is that I kept nibbling until I found what was "right". Ever do that ? Today I logged the food I plan on eating including snacks. I plan on cutting back on my decaf coffee and going to herbal Rooibos when I want that something warm to drink. The Rooibos has a cappichinno flavor to it. Yum, I got it at a specialty tea shop. Will talk more latter. I have much to do this morning and must get going.
Exercise has been good. I have managed to get in exercise every day this week. I even am getting my heart rate up now into the endurance level during my treadmill time during part of my work out. MY SI joint pain is endurable enough now that I can put the treadmill on an incline during part of my treadmill time now. I'm starting out slow on the incline and speed part like the PT told me too. Baby steps, gotta remember that.

Have you tried Teeccino? Someone gave me a sample and I thought "This is gonna taste like coffee...yeah, right!!" but it was really good. And I'm a coffee snob! I'm dusting off my diet skills too. I was on a roll there getting back on track but then life got hectic again. Ideally I'd stick to my plan regardless but I think I need to get my routine well established before I have any big things get in the way. Thanks so much for the kind thoughts on my blog. I had a lot of emotional stuff going on this weekend but I feel so much better now. I expressed to my husband that I needed some time together and that helped a lot.

Been there done that! Normally if I'm looking for the right thing I rarely find it because I'm not really hungry
