I've lost three pounds in one day, but I know it's because of this intestinal illness I currently am suffering from. Wouldn't it be nice if one could lose weight this fast normally ! Unfortunately, I know this is mostly from dehydration and, well from other weighty matters, so in a few days I should be back to normal when I get over what ever caused this illness. Ge, but it is serving me as motivation to get on the ball and lose those last pounds as I got a thrill seeing the scale read 145.5. Some how I realized that really could be my weight if I worked at it. For some reason I have gotten it in my head I could no longer lose and was stuck at 148 and that my body had reached it's comfortable weight. That may be so, but I still need to cut my eating down and become consistent enough on1300 calories for a few weeks to see if this body will go back to losing. I am slowly getting back into the groove one step at a time. Priority one is to find new foods to liven up my diet once I can eat again. Right now just keeping food down this week is a goal. Next will be to get consistent on exercise. I have built up to walking two miles and strength exercises every day with weight training twice a week. This has to get consistent, it hasn't been yet. I have been doing this three times a week so far and not five times a week. Logging my food needs to be a daily thing as I won't lose if I don't log. Everyone knows the why's on this one. Blogging, as Susan recently said, this is important in order to get that support and also to keep in touch with others. I have taken a real long vacation from CK. Sorry guys. I guess I was suffering a little burn out, but in order to get this food addict right on track I need you alls support, so I need to be here, no more vacations. When I don't feel like writing much, I will at least put down a few words.
Speaking of not feeling well, yesterday was one of those days as what ever I have kept me down all day.

I did manage to take the dog for a short one mile walk which felt good to my achy legs, but other than that I spent the day in bed sipping water and generally not feeling very good. Today I have nothing planned other than to get better and perhaps visit the doctor if I'm not better by this afternoon

:kiss: Tough way to lose weight but you are right about it giving you an incentive to make that number real. I am in need of a incentive too but I am not hoping for what you got!!!

I am sorry that you are feeling yucky. Bugs are just the worst. I hope that it has passed by now and you're on the road to recovery. You have come too far to give up now...and don't settle for anything less than getting all the way to where you want to be!

Sorry to hear how sick you have been. That's no fun. Please continue to take good care of yourself - get rest and lots of fluids. You are doing great Iory -- you are an inspiration to so many of us. It's understandable to take a break from blogging or even doing the diary once in a while -- the important thing is to get back to it when you see that scale creeping back up! I know you'll get to your goal weight -- how wonderful to see that 145.5 on the scale. Motivating -!!!
