View MOUGHI's food & exercise for this day
Through out this Holiday season I am reminded that there is one free gift that doesn't cost us anything but a little time, the gift of encouragement. Yesterday, I saw a young girl at the gym who was in need of some. She was quite a bit over weight and apparently was not accustomed to doing any exercise. Her Father was there trying to get her on the exercise bike and attempting to get her motivated to keep pushing herself that one more minute. I picked up on the conversation with them and was able to make friends with them and tell them my story. The father was encouraged and the daughter soon attached herself to me as we began to talk. I showed her some stretches and shared with her some more as she opened up about her condition. We exchanged phone numbers as she is interested in the support group I am going to. I will be calling her to make sure she gets up yo the gym and keeps going. I have found that giving encouragement is something you learn here at CK. It makes a difference in our lives. It has made a difference in my life as everyone here has given me encouragement. I just wanted to thank all of you for the encouragement over this past year you have given me. Thanks everyone. It sure has made a difference to this girl.
Goal this next few weeks is to stop the NO NO eating and reduce the snacking. Second goal is to be more faithful to drinking water, especially as we are having to use the heater and the air is dryer in the house. I am noticing even my lips are cracking more with the heater being on. OK, I am complaining a little about the cold weather, but you have to remember I live where cold is considered anything below 50.

I can't imagine what it is like to live where there is actually snow on the ground ! Also, got to remember down here we don't exactly have a lot of cold weather clothes in our closets. I don't have any since I lost all of my weight. This year I haven't had the money to go out and replace all of those clothes as of yet, so I am layering !!!!!! I was hoping to finish losing those last few pounds before buying any more clothes...we all know that story.
Have a good week.

Hi Iory...I've missed reading blogs lately -- so it's nice to catch up! I agree with you totally about the giving of support and how much that helps. How nice of you to help that young girl...I'm sure that it meant a lot to her and to her father. I guess you wouldn't like it here in SL today - we had a good six inches of snow and it is icy cold out there today. Burrr.... Take care.
