Thursday, Jan 22 2009 - Surgery went well
View MOUGHI's food & exercise for this day
Surgery went well and I dosed on and off this afternoon with the dog beside me. I came in and weighed the same as I did six months ago for the last surgery. That is good news and bad, I guess. It means I have kept my weight off but I have not hit my goal weight. Yes, I have had to struggle to keep those little extra pounds off that I gained during the holiday, but it has made me determined that sometime this year I have got to get down to my goal weight now and get this belly weight off. Yet, it was nice for the staff to recognize that I KEPT IT OFF.
I'm going to get back down now, just wanted to let everyone all is right in the world here today.

Yep, keeping the weight off is a good thing, but not when you're trying to lose the last 10 or so...definitely channel that motivation and get it done. You can do it! I will send you the recipe for the turkey croquettes, I don't know if it will work for your sugar levels and all but I'm sure you can adapt it!

I'm happy to hear that your surgery went well. And maintaining that weight loss for all this time is a huge success, Iory! You are beating the odds and eventually, I know, you will get to your goal weight, too!

I'm glad surgery went okay. You're always thinking about the process and learning from it. You'll make it to goal. You're a success story already. Rest and get feeling better.
