Wednesday, Mar 4 2009 - making in roads

View MOUGHI's food & exercise for this day

It's about time that I start making in roads. I have come to that place I have to get back on the wagon or else. I am struggling bad with getting back on my diet. This week I noticed mt pants were a little tighter and said, whoops. It is time to make that decision that I have been putting off for nine months. I will have to just grin and bear it and get back down to business. So tonight as I write this brief blog all I can say is my discomfort has finally gotten the best of me and made me a little more determined. Now let's see if I can actually do what nine months of wishing I could hasn't produced. That is getting back to business. Once I get back on track I usually do ok. It's that first week back on the diet that is the hardest. Those initial hunger pains, noticing you want to hit the frig when you are not suppose to, wanting that extra snack, taking the time to plan your food, logging your food, all the time consuming things that go into the first week. Yep, let's see if I can pull off just one week starting tomorrow. Now, I may not be able to blog tomorrow, so I may not be able to tell you how tomorrow goes, so talk to you Friday.

Just saw your comment on another blog that your son lives in Grand Prairie. One of my best friends (matron of honor at our wedding) lives there so I try to go visit every year or two. Small world! The ball stadium is lovely! One of the prettiest ones, I think.

Sometimes the "pain" of discomfort has to push you into action until the joy of it can pull you along. That's definitely where I was before Christmas when a year of CK had left me with no weight loss. And now I'm doing it. You will too when you are good and ready. It's certainly not a matter of CAN you do it, but do you WANT to do it....because we've seen that you CAN! :thumbu2:

You can do this. It's a constant struggle and you need to just focus on one meal at a time which will turn into one day and eventually into a week.

:hi: You can do this. If you can change from the before pic to look as you do in the after pic...you can get back on track.:thumbu2: You look like two different women, and I bet you feel like it also. Remember," Nothing tastes as good as being thin feels". So true. I have faith in you
