I am finally getting it together. My eating is returning to normal. No more binging or over eating or eating foods I am not suppose to be eating. I am even not going to buy things like crackers, cereal, and granola any more since I can't seem to handle having them in the house and eating them in correct portions. My husband agreed to give up his chocolate pudding for a while since the smell of chocolate was driving me wild and making me want chocolate ! He is going to stick to strawberries and cool whip for desert which doesn't bother me.
Now all I have to manage is to get my calorie count down consistently to lose weight an exercise. I will concentrate on that in the next few weeks. I will also have to concentrate on getting used to less carb snacks since I will not be bringing in any crackers for a while. This means I am going to have to be more creative for snack time since I usually ate some kind of cracker for my snack. I think some kind of fruit and yogurt or cheese and bread combination or vegetable and hummus will be my snack routine. I need some protein most of the time, so there is that challenge too.
WOW ! GM bit the dust ! I feel for all of those involved. If you are one of those effected you have my heart. There are lay offs going on down here too. I have a neighbor who worked for Dow Chemical who got the ax recently. Thankfully, her husband's job is secure. My husband's job is secure because his company specializes in deep well projects in the Gulf of Mexico that has contracts for the next ten years. We are grateful for this.
