So far I am managing ti break the binging cycle at night and control my night time eating. I occasionally take a few extra bites of food, but nothing that could be put into the binge category. In other words I am successfully controlling my eating now even if my calorie count is still too high to effectively lose some pounds. Goal one has been accomplished though. Kill the night time eating and get control back into my life, or feel the control once again.Friday, June 26th 2009
I lost a little weight this week which is good thing. I am especially happy about this because I haven't been focusing on logging every day but every other day and on the opposite days trying to stay in the routine exchanges and portion sizes etc. I will be getting better about logging to find out my exact calorie count for the day because that is an assured way to know I am staying on target. I have done a lot of soul searching in the past few days leading up to talking to my sponsor, my husband, and even asking a friend to be a accountability partner who will call me each week and get on to me if I make excuses about not staying on my health plan. Did you note I changed diet to health plan. Yes, I realized I must never use the word " diet " with myself because I look at that as almost a punishment or life sentence of torture. I put my weight down today and for some reason I thought thirty pounds to lose doesn't seem that bad. This time last year I couldn't make myself lose those last twenty pounds for the life of me. For some reason I now have the resolve to make it to my goal weight especially when I realize I have already lost so much . What's another 25-30 pounds. Hopefully I won't plateau like I did last time which got me all unmotivated to begin with in the first place.Sunday, June 21st 2009
