View MOUGHI's food & exercise for this day
Yesterday I went over when I got the late night snacks, but I stayed within weight loss range and did not BINGE !!!!!!!! I had some hunger pains, but they were tolerable. I am spending my time looking up foods that I am unsure about and not assuming they fit into the "all " category ". One example is a melon I picked up at the store. It was a Hami or Chinese melon. I first thought it would have the same cals as a cantaloupe. Then after eating it, I thought, this thing sure is sweeter than a cantaloupe. Maybe it is more in line with a honeydew and there for it should have more cals. Light bulb !!!!! So I Googled it and sure enough it had more cals than both a cantaloupe and a honeydew per serving. no wonder I like it and thought it was the best melon I had ever had. 4.5oz or one cup is 60 cals, still not bad for a good tasting summer fruit. It still was a lesson for me. Never lump all fruits in a category or any food for that matter if you can.
On the Weight Watcher situation. I found out that I will have to pay each week since I am not at goal weight. So, since I am paying off my dentist for the next four months, I will have to wait and re-join up after I pay up my dentist. Then my hubby tells me we will be able to afford both WW and the gym and I won't have to drop the gym. He feels it is important for me to have this support group that is weight orientated. He sees this now since he is going to a support group for his situation. Now he is catching on.

When I first joined WW years ago and wanted to continue he never understood the why it was SO important and finally had to drop out because he thought I was spending too much time and money. He didn't realize that at the time this was needed to help me with a life time condition until I stabilized. I needed to stick with it for more than a year because it would take much longer to over come my eating habits than a years worth of meetings.
Yes, you can't always change those bad habits and hang ups over night. As we say in recover it is a process ,it takes place over time. First there must be a renewing of ones mind in everything we think about food and about ourselves. Then there is the change in ones habits that comes from that change in the mind. Last comes the new person who no longer acts like the old person. but that can years to develop. This is where patience, endurance, and faith comes in, and not giving up. ( does this sound Biblical ? Well it is right out of the Scriptures ! This is how my faith has strengthened me in losing weight. I have read of these examples in God's word on each of these subjects. So, every time I have wanted to quit or feel frustrated, I have been rejuvenated by His word. Just to let you all know I get kind of mushy at times when I think about all of this. So I apologize for seeming preachy today. But, I just am filled with such joy today and I wanted to let you all know from where it comes from. )
Anyway, thanks for everyone of you all and your support.
Today is another screaming HOT day down here.

Have a wonderful Day

Sounds like you are doing well. I have been guilty of eating alot of Rapini (Broccoli Raab) lately and just recording it as Broccoli. I finally looked it up and the nutriional facts are close enough - but technically Rapini is believed to be from the turnip family.
