View MOUGHI's food & exercise for this day

I've been busy this week getting ready for a trip I will take next week to LA. I am going with nine others in my church to a Celebrate Recovery conference to learn how to minister to people better in our ministry. I am busy cooking meals and freezing them so my hubby will have a good meal every night when he comes home from work while I am gone.

Today I cooked two meals and froze them. One meal made multiple servings though so he can use the pasta dish for a few lunches too. Tomorrow I will make a few more meals and hopefully by Friday will have ten meals made and in the outside freezer for the man.
I plan on eating cheap while in LA too. There are a few of us going who don't have much money to spend on meals. I'm not planning on fast food as my option here too. I plan on taking my breakfast with me as I always do when I travel. It is cereal, dried cranberries, powdered soy milk, and turkey jerky. It works. The conferences will provide lunch. For dinner If I have to I will go to a local Walmart that is by the hotel and buy a sandwich and salad form their deli or a frozen meal and take it back to the hotel. We are suppose to have access to a microwave there. If I add some fruits I hope I can eat cheap that week and not spend 20.00 a meal at restaurants. Maybe I will go out one night.

Good for you in plannin everything - it WILL work. If there is a fridge, have you ever thought of getting a couple of salad fixings, and making that for your lunch, and picking up a cooked chicken to add the protein? I bought a MacDonald's salad to get the dish and then used the dish to pack my salad when I had to do my last convntion. It worked great. I hope your Hubby enjoys the fruits of your multi-labor while you are gone and doesn't go eat out and waste money, like mine does when this senario happens. But he most likely will be invited OUT, because he is alone. How come that doesn't happen to the women when they are home alone? Mut be our generation - have a good time on your trip. Hugz - Kel
