View MOUGHI's food & exercise for this day
I'm getting closer to actually logging what I eat everyday. There are just some things I can't figure out how to really calculate because I make stuff at the last minute when I cook. Then there are those unaccounted bites that go into my mouth through out the day that I need to stop. Those are getting more controlled, but we all know those can add up. I think the breath mints can really be biggies here too or the chewing gum. I forget to put these down, or the sugar free drinks.
This week all I really needed to do was add exercise an everything would have been fine. Since I didn't, I will just maintain my weight. I feel lighter just knowing my brain cut back and got control of my eating though. The feeling of control is really important. I made choices and over came temptations. I avoided TV and did other things. I have been putting this off for a long time since I am some what of a TV addict. TV has been a trigger for my late night eating. Now I am reading and actually beginning to enjoy it. I even get on the computer. ( Not my thing, but I'm learning some skills here I thought I couldn't. ) Gotta make this a quick blog tonight as I have my class tonight. I'll let you all know how it goes. It is a First Place For Health Bible study which focuses on health, diet, and putting God first in your life in order to help you over come eating problems. This should be better than my CR program for my eating problem because they go over actually ways to help people over come eating problems. Well see. They have a web sight. Talk about it more latter once I see what it is more about.

As you know, TV watching at night is a big trigger for me too. Recently, my husband and I made the decision (gulp!) and canceled cable. There's really a lot of stuff from cable TV we can watch online so I don't know that it's going to help my nighttime nibbling but it's at least saving us $35/month now that hubby is laid off.
