This is getting ridiculous. One day it's 66 the next it's going to sleet or even snow down here ! Now for you folks up north or west that get snow most winters, laugh. Houston hasn't seen three snows in a season, well, in who knows when. Certainly not since I have lived down here. I kept telling myself I didn't need to buy a winter coat this year. It never gets that that cold down here. After all, I still had 30 pounds to lose, what a waste of money to buy before I got to my goal weight. Boy, was I wrong. I guess I could go out and get a coat, but my husband kept telling me the cold weather wouldn't LAST !!!!!!!!!!!!! This has been a record cold winter and I still don't have a coat. I have been layering light jackets on top of each other for three months now. It's getting old now. I may break down and go to the store tomorrow.

I woke up this morning with my daughter's special " ring tone " coming over my cell phone, so I knew I had better answer it. Her hubby drove off with her car keys in his car. Don't ask how her keys ended up in his car or why she only has one set to her car. I got to play mommie taxie like the good old days. At least we had a pleasant visit. Thankfully, she is getting better about doing something like this, but I do wonder what is going to happen when those two have kids !!!!!!!! I may have to insist they move a little closer !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
