I have my eating under control and am being consistent now. All I have to do is get that 45 minute walk in everyday and some weight and core work in and weight should start to come off now. I do feel much better now knowing I can resist temptation an eat right. This week when I was sick was the hardest because I had to make the choice to eat right when I wanted to give in EVERYDAY to comfort food. I did have pizza one night, but that night both of us were too sick to cook. I ate a reasonable portion ( 5 oz ) of pizza and forced myself to eat salad even though I didn't feel like it. What I really wanted all week were thing like chicken noodle soup, grilled cheese sandwiches, p&j, etc. Fat, fat, and more fat with no veggies. Instead, I ate my fruit and veggies and managed to get down some turkey. Don't think I enjoyed it, but it kept my calories down. I ate a lot of vegetarian dishes earlier in the week, so I was surprised to learn that my total protein count for the week was lower than usual. Oh well.

Today I will go to see the Lipizzaner stallions. They came to town five years ago. My husband bought me an XL shirt which I could not wear but wanted anyway. I kept it in my closet all of these years an enjoyed looking at. Then it dawned on me to try it on. Of course it fit now, I had lost 80 pounds since he had bought it ! SO, today I am wearing that shirt to the show along with the hat I got. I think I will buy a L shirt this time and wait till I can fit into it. I used that shirt as a motivator to lose weight. I wanted to be able to fit into concert shirts since most special occasion events never carried 3x sizes for one. =D=D=D=D

Off to church, then to the horse show ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ have a good Sunday. :kiss:
