View MOUGHI's food & exercise for this day

It has been 8 weeks since I restarted my diet and I haven't lost any weight. Oops. That's ok, I accomplished few other important goals. I learned I will need to go back to using the CK Dairy instead of using the First Place for Health Food Tracker. I need a closer and tighter calorie watch. When I count calorie, I measure and weigh my food more religiously. Portion control is vital since I only have 1300 cals to work with.

I have learned that salt is a big trigger food for me. I didn't know that. I knew sugar was, but didn't realize that salty foods were far worse than sugar. I will stay away from them.

I loved what Miriam said a few weeks ago so much about abstinence that it freed me from feeling sorry and having a lot of self pity that I had been living with for so long. Now, I can go by that table of food on Thursday night and not be bothered by it. It's a choice not to eat unhealthy. It's a choice to stay away from sugar so my diabetic body will function right, not a punishment. I'm not being punished or torturing myself anymore.

It is much easier to not think about food at night since I do other things at night to comfort myself. Reading and cuddling with my dogs. Drinking a hot cup of tea, to more water, and turning off the TV and listening to music while relaxing with that book. I allow myself one evening snack. I do ok most nights there, but there is plenty of room for improvement not to eat seconds here. This area needs more work !!!!!!!!!!!!!

I do need to get out an exercise. That is probably why I lost no weight. I kept my eating down or close to my calorie count. Exercise would have gotten me down to the 1300. Point made. Therefor, my one big goal is to establish a better sleep pattern so I feel like exercising. I believe the food aspects is coming.

My weight loss hasn't been super fast the last few weeks even though my weighing/measuring and food selection has been darn near perfect. I know that exercise is what I need too. Let's commit to some walks!
