Today's food was better, but not perfect. My exercise was non existent. Tomorrow I will have time to get to the gym since I got most of my shopping done today. I thought it was funny, though, when both dogs went to the door and gave me this look today every time I got went to the front of the house. computer troubles

I've been gone fro a while mainly because our computer was acting up. Hubby took it in and the store wanted $200.00 to put in a bunch of software to make it faster. Since this is a ten year old computer, we didn't see the sense in putting in that kind of money into it. So, hubby just down loaded himself one piece of software which did speed up the computer. We didn't have any virus', so it seems to be a problem with reading Internet sites. I don't quite understand this, but right now getting a n...

Going home

Today is a going home story of sorts for one person in my family. While I was at church a video was being played in my niece's church of her father Jimmie telling his story of a year long battle with cancer. Actually, it had been a six year battle with mass cell leukemia. As the video was being played around 11:30 am in his daughter's church, Jimmie went home to be with the Lord as if to prove a point to those watching thee Earthly bound video. down turn

I got the word tonight that My BIL is going down hill fast. We can expect to "get" that call any time now to go to a funeral. I hate these death watches. Two weeks ago we went to visit with him and had a pleasant visit. I am grateful we got in that visit before this down turn. He came down with pneumonia and decided not to treat it because he does not want to delay the inevitable. He is a very brave man because this means much more pain and discomfort.
