UGH, 7 DAYS TILL SURGERY ! I'm not looking forward to this, but am looking forward to having less pain and maybe no pain when the shoulder heals. I'm hoping I get more movement back and the shoulder impingement was more of an issue than the frozen issue was. ( ortho terms here ) Anyway, with a little luck, I will have more movement and no pain when all is done.Monday, June 28th 2010
I had a some what successful day. I have eating well with out over eating. I just didn't take time to log my food to see if I stayed with in my 1300 cals. I know it's these little efforts that will make the difference though. I did weigh and measure my food. It was an unintentional rest day as I just couldn't get up the energy to make it to the gym. Sunday I did the exercise bike for 30 minutes. I almost don't count that as exercise since I can't go fast enough or use high gears yet to really wo...Sunday, June 27th 2010
I read today that true weight loss success is getting down to your goal and keeping it off for five years. Only 5% of people who participate in ALL weight loss programs make that goal according to some statistical guru. Well, I have never made it to my goal in my three years of trying. I lost 90 and gained 20 back. This means to be where I want to be, I must lose at least 28 pounds and keep it off for five years. I want to do this in two years. I walked three plus miles today, fast miles today. I know I probably used 2-300 calories. This gives me extra food at night if I get hungry and need it. If not, I can not eat that light evening snack and lose weight quicker. I like this much better and will try to make this a pattern from now on.Wednesday, June 16th 2010
I used up all of my time logging my food on the diary this afternoon. What should have taken ten or so minutes took thirty because of my computer. This hasn't left me much time to blog and no time to visit today.
