I walked three plus miles today, fast miles today. I know I probably used 2-300 calories. This gives me extra food at night if I get hungry and need it. If not, I can not eat that light evening snack and lose weight quicker. I like this much better and will try to make this a pattern from now on.
I found I stay on my target better when I use the CK tracker than the First Place tracker. It's more of a discipline thing for me. I am more used to weighing my food than using cups to measure my food. So, Ck fits better. Ck also helps me in figuring out my total carb count for the day with exercise. This is important for my diabetes.
I now have a walking buddy on Saturdays. This should be fun. We won't be able to meet every Sat., but even if it's a few Saturdays every month it will be more than I have now. I hope I can keep up with here. She's taller, that means I will have to hustle to keep up with her.

It is so helpful to have a buddy to talk to during walks and make you get out there when you want to be lazy.

It's so great to have a walking buddy. They will encourage you out on those days when you might feel like curling up with a book instead (or worse)! Three miles plus -- fast --- YIPEE for you! Thanks again for all your support and words of encouragement.
