Yea, Thanks to my husband and daughter I working on my new/used apple lap top. I bought my daughter's two yet old apple. To me its like a working on magic since my other computer was ten years old. Also, working on a lap top is a bit strange as well. There are some advantages and disadvantages that I can tell already. ONe is that I can work from my easy chair in the guest room which is a lot more comfortable for my back and shoulders. The second is I can use both hands on the key pad instead of one hand on a mouse. Since my husband is right handed and always wanted to keep the mouse on the rt click for the mouse and I hated to always keep changing it out for me, this is nice to just have a key pad. They last is, it's easier for me to rest my hands on a lap pad since I not a real typist.

I knew I knew little about computers, but when she started showing me all of these short cuts on the lap top I was amazed. Command I for information, command N for new screen. Now I am going down the alphabet to see what happens. THe Apple mail box is a lot faster. I'm going to like that. More important, I am now going to enjoy being able to do my food log in half the time as my old computer took for ever. I also now will be able to read and respond to more blogs now. That's a real reason why I haven't participated much this last year. My computer would shut down every time I would try to respond to a blog or take 15 minutes to just turn on and go from page to page. who has that kind of time ?Well, so much talk talk about my new toy. I have to go and get ready for my surgery tomorrow. I probably won't be able to play on this lap top or say hi to anyone for at least a week maybe two. I will have my are in a sling for at least a week. ( yea, no cooking for a week ) Talk to you all latter.
