View MOUGHI's food & exercise for this day
I went to the First Place 4 Health Leadership Summit this weekend. I really enjoyed it. From a spiritual side, it was inspirational, but from an instructional side, I didn't learn anything. I guess I was a little disappointed from that aspect of it.
I'm working really hard at planning my food and putting it down before I eat it. It doesn't work for mw to do it afterwards except for a few meals. I must make a general plan for the day then if needed alter it as I go through the day. I did that today when I changed my afternoon snack. I do even better when I can plan out some of my food the night before. Dinner and breakfast are easy to plan since they are shopped for. If I am going out and will be shopping lunch can be tricky. MOst of the time when I'm out shopping I take a lunch and stop at a coffee shop or whole foods for a salad and drink. We now have a Fit Foods place by us, so eating out for lunch has become a no brainer. The food is good and is low cal and even tagged with how many calories/fat/carbs in each meal !
My shoulder is now at the point it is ready to be stretched out by a therapist. I'm beginning to do my own stretches. Ugh ! My muscles around my elbow an around my scapula are just as sore as you can imagine. I think the soreness is worse than the operation pain was. Ugh, I'll be taking that back once the PT starts pulling on that arm !
My hubby was taking Callie out with him on his runs. She did all right fir a week. Then one morning he got up and got her chain and rattled it and called her name. He expected a bright eye and bushy tailed dog to jump up and run to the front door. Instead, she looked up ad ran under the covers and peeped from under them. He laughed and called her a wimp !

The meal planning really does help...otherwise we are constantly thinking about what we are going to fix, eat. When it's planned for - there's no need to think about it much! I am working on that, too.

glad to hear you are doing good. I am going to have to google fit food, I have never heard of it.
I don't blame poor Callie, it is way hot out there.
