I got a little exercise today. I forced myself to get out there and walk even though I felt absolutely exhausted. And I was so tired I could barely walk a i/2 mile, so I came home early. It was an absolutely beautifull day though. We are finally getting into some cooler weather and I saw a lot of neighbors out. I deveopled a sore on my foot and had to wobble today as well. ( Yea Terrie, I just had to get in on the fun ).

Nothing much going on here except hubby continues to run. Sunday is a total rest day for both of us though. We both noticed at our age it takes longer to recover from exercise. This does make me feel better to realize this.

I love my Polar -- and I love my Garmin. I have a cheapo Timex that I absolutely HATE -- it turns on and off by itself and it WAY overestimates calories burned. The Polar does not have a GPS, so when I started running, I upgraded to the Garmin not so much for the mapping feature but to track my distance easier. I also love being able to tell my speed.

If you could point me in the direction of that alternative treatment, I'd love to hear it. I'm a bit concerned about trying to keep my dog quiet and calm for 4-6 weeks after his treatment -- they said he could get a blood clot just from jumping off the bed :cry2:
