I talked to the shoe maker who is working on my custom shoes. He is going to send me a kit so I can make a mold ( cast ) of my entire foot. I wish he would have told me he had this kit when I told him everyone I asked here didn't know how to make a full cast of my foot. Maybe this would have helped him make the shoe. The firs time he made the shoe, he made it too small and I had to send the shoe back. So far it has been 11 months and I still haven't gotten that custom walking shoe @!!!#$!&*%!*$*$@ At $400.00 you can see why I'm frustrated.

I had trouble with my blood sugar this month. It is due o two cortisone shots and weight gain. I hit that magic weight gain number where my body says lose or use it. Meaning> insulin ! This motivates me to get back on program. Well now I know, if I lose it like I did this year where it will lead me. I may not need the insulin except when I eat more carbs than I'm allotted in a days time, but I had to use some this week for the first time in three years. It was an eye opener. I also can see the correlation between blood sugar and exercise. Exercise really helps control the bood sugar. I got out today and just did a little walkinf and it lowered my blood sugar enough to make a difference. Ever since my shoulder surgery I have been slacking off. I will have to start off slow, but I will go back to walking.

Tues. I leave for Denver, so I will talk to everyone when I get back. The only place I hope my brother will take me to is Yahoo's fish Tacos. My brother has to eat fish all next week, so it shouldn't be a problem. I love this place. THey have them in Calif. and one in Austin. THeu make the best fish tacos.
