View MOUGHI's food & exercise for this day
It's freeing and it's one week till the Houston Marathon. My poor hubby may have to run his first half marathon in very cold weather. I am going to keep tabs on the ten day forcast.
Found out yestrday I will have to have more evasive surgery on my back. The good news is that now this surgery can be performed without cutting me open. I waited long enough for technology to catch up with the surgery ! My doctor is a smart man. He started me out with very conservative treatment nowing that I would eventually need this treatment, but wanted to go with corisone shots and nerve burns first until they became uneffective. Now, we have to go into the disc themselves and clean out scar tissue and work on the nerves more agressively. A few years ago Doctors had to cut a person open, now they can use scopes to do the job. This is all because of the new 3D TVs that let the doctors see the disc from all angles. So, now they can use scopes to go inside and not cut you open.
I'm tired, so here's hoping both underdogs make it to the Superbowl.

Houston forcast is looking good - actually rather hot. Hope your husband does well. I am training for my second half in March. Best of luck with the back surgery.

Yuck for more surgery, but YAY that technology is on your side! Cooler weather is better for running, but not COLD. I hope it turns out warmer for him!
