Today is a wonderful day. I always mark this day with much happiness in my heart. 39 years ago this Jewish girl gave her heart to the Lord Jesus Christ. Ok, Jews don't follow Christ traditionally and I won't make this a religous blog, y going into why I believe Jesus is the Jewish Messiah. I just had to make note that this day 39 years ago changed the course of my life forever.

I am recovering from surgery well. I can sit more without pain, stand a little longer, and do a few more chores. I can't lift anything over ten pounds though. Callie still doesn't understand that.

I haven't lost any weight, but I am getting used to counting carbs again since I am back on insulin again. This actually helps me on my diet since it requires more discipline of me. When I have to be more discipline I usually get more into counting calories and staying on my program.

My husband also said when I get back on an exercise program, I need to set a goal. He suggested that I plan on getting into shape by setting my goal on a race.
