I went went to my sub division's gym tonight since I over slept and didn't make it out before 7 this morn. At 8pm the gym was crowded so I only got 20 minutes on the treadmill. This is the disadvantage to the free gym. We only have four treadmills, three ellipticals, three bikes, and limited weight machines. When the gym is busy you only get 20 minutes. I've been off line for a while, so let me catch everyone up as to what has been going on in my world:

Those custom shoes I have talked about for walking for years HAVE NOW BEEN ORDERED !!!! I await them, and can't wait till I have a pair of shoes that fit my feet. I certainly hope they meet my expectations. They will compensate for the leg that is shorter too. I hope some of my pain will disappear with better fitting shoes.

I am now walking in the EARLY mornings consistently now thanks...

computer problems

My ancient computer is making it difficult for me to work my diary . Today I was trying to figure out the calorie count on a recipe and the computer was going slower than a turtle. So,I ran one of those programs to clean up the software etc. It's running better now. Boy, I can't wait till we get a new computer.

I am out of food cals tonight and find myself saying, I don't need to eat. I'm looking around with all this time on my hands that used to be occupied by food thoughts. Have you notic...

Mother's day

Both of my kid's called to wish me a happy MD. My daughter was getting over the same stuff I have, only I seemed to have a worse case of what ever is going around. I still have a slight fever and am going through my third box of tissue this weekend.

I'm not trying to cut calories while I'm sick, but have decided to go on a maintenance regiment while sick. I figured my body may need the extra cals to help fight the infection. I am eating a few extra fruits and protein,and tyring to be good. ...

back in the groove

I feel back in the groove now since I am tracking my food again. The only thing I need to do isplan my food the day before to ensure my calorie count. Right now I am using the First PLace for Health food tracker which is not as accurate as sitting down at the CK diary, but I haven't the patience for the CK dairy right now. I'll get back there soon.
