I'm having a good day and making good food choices. There were some temptations today as I went to the store to pick up an ingredient top finish a project and get something for dinner, very hungry ! There were nibbles all around the store. I gave in to a nibble of a Laura's health bar. It was just a tiny bit of a bite. I'm doing better even though I couldn't go to the gym today. I got plenty of walking around stores though today. My husband is going to let me buy a HRM next payday. Sports Authority has them on sale 10 off plus another 25% off making the polar f6 75.00. I think that's a pretty good price. I don't know if that includes the band though. I'm getting closer to actually logging what I eat everyday. There are just some things I can't figure out how to really calculate because I make stuff at the last minute when I cook. Then there are those unaccounted bites that go into my mouth through out the day that I need to stop. Those are getting more controlled, but we all know those can add up. I think the breath mints can really be biggies here too or the chewing gum. I forget to put these down, or the sugar free drinks.Friday, January 8th 2010
I looked over my calorie intake and realized the only thing really wrong with myself is not my slight over eating, but my NOT going to the gym. So far this week I have been 900 calories over target. Exercise would have taken care of at least 60 % of that even with my handicap. For most of you all who can run and do the elliptical, that would have been off in two exercise sessions ! I'm begging to remember how to do the food diary and to remember my pattern of eating in order to keep from getting hungry now. All that is left to do is to get to the gym and get more rest. I haven't gotten that down yet. It looks like that's all I will need to get my calories down in order to lose weight though now. A 45 minute exercise session each day should pull my calories down and get my body going into weight loss mode. I'll have to do it in spite of having a pair of shoes that run up an...
