Third year on CK

I'm approaching my third year here on CK and haven't met my goal weight yet because I have taken a year off from losing. As I sign up for another year, I guess it will be a good time to look at my goals and determine if I am really going to want lose those last 25 pounds or so. This year I took time off to spend time with my inner self to get to understand the whys I over eat and binge. I'm glad I did because I don't think I could have gone onto the next level of dieting without doing so.

just to let every one know I haven't dropped off the face of the earth. At the request of my sponsors, I have been asked to not do anything food related for a while. I have been told that a sign of addiction is when you think of the substance you are addicted to 24/7. Well, I am not that bad, but I talk a lot about food and how I count my calories, prepare my food, etc. I think and plan my meals from the time I get up each morn that it just totally consumes me. looking at the positives

Well, I tried to snack last night but there was NOTHING in my pantry ;) because I had gotten rid of all the snackies I had in my pantry. I ended up not doing much damage to myself and got rid of the desire to snack. Today as I logged what to eat for a snack I had two three options: fruit, veggies, or air popcorn. That's what I want to have in my house for snacks, healthy stuff that is bulky. I also have some yogurt to mix with the fruit and peanut butter to dip the celery in if I want. All of th...

regrouping is good

I have had to regroup my diet before, but this seems like I have told myself this a dozen times before. Tomorrow is a new day and I get to start all over again tomorrow. I can do it, just you see, to only blow it some how. Yet, I get right back up the next day and try again and again. So, I ask myself why do I keep trying ? nothing new to reoprt

Not much going on tonight. I have to get serious about regaining control of my eating. Got a little carried away this weekend. Nothing to bad, but enough to worry me. I did get a little exercise, but not enough. It's finally cooling off to where I fill comfortable to walk the dogs in the morning. I know, excuses. My back is holding up enough to walk, so I need to get to the gym and either get into the pool or hit the exercise bike. Tomorrow I will go early to the gym and start a four day program...
