race day and rehearsal night

Saturday was the race day and rehearsal night. It started off pretty good. I made sure I stretched out that morning and took a quick walk to wake up my muscles. I'm glad I did because I ended up needing those muscles that day. When we got to the coarse, we were faced with a mile walk from the parking to the race. I have been resting all day and not even washing clothes or or unpacking much today. The dog and I have been enjoying sitting in each others company catching up on a few missed tv shows and NOT seeing any rain today. I decided to tell my tale by days if I can remember what happened each day. I did write down what I ate each day except for the the wedding dinner . I just didn't know how to log that dinner. What a trip I just had ! It was a wild four nights and five days in Michigan as P and I married off our daughter. I have many travel and food stories to tell. I don't think I gained any weight over those five days even though I felt like I ate like a hog. It must have been all the walking around I did pluis my exercising that I got in the hotel's exercise room as well as the walking I had to do through out the whole weekend. Which turned out to be over five or so miles within a two day period !...150.5

A week before the wedding and I kind of made it to my goal weight by .5 ! To bad I have been just gulping down food right and left or maybe that 1/2 pound would be gone too. My doc is taking me off one of the diabetes meds because I was having a lot of lows. I will test my BG every two hours and see how I do today. I don't know now if i will even have to take any insulin to the wedding since I know that other pill will drop my blood sugar more if I need it too. The main thing I will have to do ...

Ok I put a new photo up of me on the member page and it's on the member page but it didn't show up on my blog. What gives ? This is the third time this has happened to me.
Every time I write CK and they tell me to try and refresh my sight. That doesn't seem to work. Since it is Sunday I am going to give it a day and see if it takes a while for that photo to show up. My after photo showed up immediately. All I can say is photos and CK and I don't seem to get along. GRRR ! Now you know why I ...
