I've been so busy lately I have found myself relaxing a bit too much on the things that have given me success in losing my weight and maintaining it. Last night I even found myself nervously munching away with those little marshmallows and pretzels until I was so stuffed I felt I couldn't put another bite in. I know, call it what it is...So, today I made a list of the things I have been doing before I ran out the door this morning before I could lose my thoughts so I could type these in latter...Rough Day

GRRRR ROUGH DAY AND YESTERDAYEver have one of those kind of days ? Yesterday started out wonderful and full of promise. That is probably why it turned out to be such a comical day of errors. The night before I could not sleep I was so excited about getting to take off my insulin pump. It would have been a little over a year of wearing the thing and over ten years of using insulin that I had been used to. Thanks to all who encouraged me yesterday for getting off insulin. My doctor told me that at some point I could be back on it as my body gets older, or if the pills don't work. He mentioned very few patients even get to my level or get to try what I am about to do today. I am staring on the smallest dose of this medication so if this does not work, we can go up in dose before we give up. It will be very important now that I don't over eat or get into those marshmallows.
I guess now I have som...

THE LATEST UPDATE: THIS GIRL IS GOING OFF INSULIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There is one week before my daughter's wedding and all has been taken care of. She has gotten all the paper work in. I am getting my self ready and will see about helping her out. She has to teach her father the Texas two step which will be their father daughter dance. Fridays dog show was a lot of fun. I got to stay all the way to the end of the night and watch Animal Planet the Best of Breed Competition. I may even be on TV since I was in the second row behind this cute Scottish terrier who could bark on cue.Max, the terrier, would bark for the dogs his owner liked and make a lot of noise for the TV crew when they wanted him too. So, he will probably make it on TV. He was a sweet animal who got tired and rested his head on my hands at one point in the night...
