March 28, 1994- April 4, 2008 R.I.P. MY BELOVED GAMBIT, I WILL ALWAYS MISS YOU. Today, I had to put my dog down after his courageous battle with a severe infection and cancer. It took only a few weeks to bring him down, but in the end, he was still trying to please me. He was a great dog, loyal, loving, ornery, stubborn ,playful, smart, lively, cute, even tempered, friendly to everyone.. I want to thank everyone for all those pep talks an encouragements you gave me. They have helped me greatly. Like Laura said, I stayed on my program even though my emotions were not into it and found that despite going into the red I lost some weight this week. My plan to set my calories low so is I went into the red I would be in the high end of my weight loss calories must have paid off. There will be no weight loss for me this week. It won't be from one of those physical plateaus that you read about so often, but from an emotional one. It could be because this week has been an emotional week for me to begin with. I have been nursing a very sick dog back to health as well as recovery from the minor hand surgery I talked about. Good news tonight, Bess blogged in to say she made it into the doctor and is feeling rotten but is ok for now. We will continually be lifting her up in our prayers as she recovers this week. Everybody can go by and say hello to her in her blog " Bess".
