Week Ten--Healthy Healthy Tory!
First of all, I want to say thank you for all the advice, the shoulders to cry on, the support, the encouragement. I sincerely appreciate it. Oh sure I know that some of you might have read my diatribe and rolled your eyes and said "Oh please, get a real problem." I understand that. I might have done the same thing myself at one point.

In fact, I really do need to focus on the positive. If the biggest problem in my life right now is a little weight gain, then I am truly blessed! TRULY blessed!

So this week I'm going to focus on health and the healthy choices I'm making that are positive. I mean hey, what if I did regain some of my weight, but still maintained a healthy weight and continued to work towards fitness goals? Would that be so bad? Nope! Not at all!

So here is how the week has gone so far:
Monday
Exercise:

* Ran 3.2 miles with Roy at the high school. At one point we were running with the track team chasing us, which was fun. I saw some kids I had last year. I miss them!
* Lifted weights for half an hour and added back extensions thanks to a suggestion from a friend (Thanks Heather!!). Seriously, I think my back feels better already.
* Did my step aerobics class. Kenda had made some naughty food choices over the weekend, so that translated into her torturing us. Just imagine lots of walking up stairs holding 12 pound weights, skipping a step, then running two laps, grabbing the weights, going down the stairs, then back up. Yeah. Ow. Damn you Kenda! Just say no to pie!
* 700 crunches, including some back exercises.

Food

* Consumed 1651 calories
* Burned 815 calories in exercise
* Points: 25

Awesome things today

* Running with Roy
* Got my observation and it seemed to go really well.
* Puppy time!
* Planted some violets under my new roses and put in more bark so I am going to have a BEAUTIFUL rose garden right outside my front door!

Tuesday
Exercise:

* Spin classs 60 minutes...she must have eaten something naughty too because I literally had sore legs all day. It takes a LOT for my legs to be sore! I just kept telling myself how easy my triathlongs are going to be this summer.
* Dance class...we actually broke a good sweat and put some moves together and did a routine to an entire song! 45 minutes! (Stop laughing about my dance class! I know you're laughing!)
* Ran four miles in 37 minutes. Yeah BayBee!

Food

* Consumed 1920 calories
* Burned 1063 calories in exercise
* Points: 30.5

Awesome things today

* Planned to run to dance class, but stepped outside and it was POURING! So I drove to dance class. I was so bummed. But after class it was nicer out, not GREAT, but nicer. So I stopped off in a chi chi area along the waterfront and ran until I didn't feel like running any more, listening to the Black Eyed Peas. (My Humps is a nasty song!) It was pouring again by the time I was done, but the spring flowers made it SO worth it! Plus I saw a friend, but he didn't see me and since I know he doesn't like to stop his run, nor do I, I didn't call to him.
* Was able to set up OSPF (a routing protocol) in my class on my router with few problems. I now have only THREEEEEEE classes left! Can we get a "whoop whoop"?
* Made an awesome healthy choice for dinner; shrimp and surimi salad without dressing. I used lemon instead. It was wicked awesome.
