Chilling on the couch after another busy day. My hip has really been bothering me. I'm concerned it's bursitis so I decided that it would be prudent to "brisk walk" my runs and take a few days off the bike.

I think my legs have officially filed for divorce and left me for another body. Oh I know, they've threatened in the past even going so far as packing a bag and going home to mother.
But this time I really think we're done.
So let's recount the last four days!
Thursday:
Ran five miles
Innertubed down Wenatchee River
Biked for an hour in the mountains (but not a lot of hills, to be fair)
Friday:
Hiked for an hour
Biked for another hour
Walked a lot

I did not wake up hungry this morning! Hmm, maybe eating to my net is a GOOD idea!
I'm not there today. I won't get there either. I'm just not hungry and honestly, I'm so tired I'm ready for bed NOW.
Today was awesome! I got up early and watched the Tour de France. Floyd has recaptured the yellow jersey! Go Floyd!
Then I ran along with Roy (on bike) to Starbucks and we split a scone. Ran home not feeling well. Okay, no scone at all before a run.

Woke up in the middle of the night last night STARVING! What's up with that? Actually, I know what's up with that. I was down almost 500 calories yesterday, but really wasn't hungry. Long run days I am going to need to find something healthy that is high in calories to add to my repertoire!
So because I was so hungry when I woke up this morning, I downed a scone. I love Great Harvest Scones...relatively low in calories, whole grain, really good. Unfortunately one is just a little too much f...

Hmmm, woke up hungry again. Yesterday was under calories due to an evening workout that I hadn't planned. We wanted to ride bikes, but it was really raining and the wind was blowing, so I used the trainer. Roy wanted to ride too so we went to the Y and I decided to try one of the new Podfitness workouts. It was really cool!
I am supposed to have a net of 1500 but I burned over 1600 calories yesterday in exercise alone!
