Our furnace is broken and I'm cold! Thank heavens it hasn't frozen! Someone will be here to repair it in a week and a half.
Roy and I got up this morning and walked to Starbucks. We took the long way and stopped near the tree farm house on the way home to see their progress on the holiday decorations! Total of 6.25 miles. I love our Starbucks. The barista told me they had my story up in the back. (That's not why I love them...LOL) I love that they get to know their customers. It just feels so warm and inviting every time I go in.
It was a nice walk...fall leaves are almost gone, but there are still some trees decked out in their finery! Gorgeous! Now I'm sitting on my massage chair trying to work out a stiff area on my back.
It's amazing that a week ago at this time I was nearly finished with the New York Marathon.

Oh my gosh, do you have to go 1 1/2 weeks without heat?
:sad3: What's the weather like there? I am so far out in the boonies at my new home that the closest Starbucks is an hour away
