Another sicky day

Saturday, November 24th 2007

Darn it! I really hate being sick, and I hate so much that this isn't something I can treat reasonably!

Plans for the day were to run out to breakfast, let the furnace guy in, and see a movie. Woke up soaked in sweat still sick. I thought I was getting better, pffft.

We did still go see the movie and it was very cute. "Enchanted" is just sweet. I'm glad we saw it. It wasn't overly silly, nor did it have innuendo that so many children's movies seem to think they need to titt...

My tummy hurts....

Friday, November 23rd 2007

Man oh man. We had all these great plans today. But I woke up this morning with Hankreatitis, again. I am so frustrated by this. It was every 6-8 weeks, and now it's happening a few times a month and no doctors can figure out what's going on.

Running in the dark

Thursday, November 15th 2007

I am enjoying running in the dark lately. Now mind you I do it safely. I run with my dog, appropriately named Dash. I wear a hat with a head lamp on (it's very cool). I wear a reflective vest and I run defensively, always waving and smiling at oncoming cars.

Dash is a little nervous in the dark, though. I'm not sure why. I think it's just all the sounds, especially in the rain, seem "bigger". He will balk at first, and then just run with glee, right next to me. What a good boy. I ...

Happy Day

Wednesday, November 14th 2007

Man I feel GOOD today! Every time I get "hankreatitis" I always spend the next day or two feeling on top of the world.

For those who actually read this completely meaningless blog...Hankreatitis is actually similar to PANCREATITIS. In 2002, just after I hit my goal weight, I had kidney stones. They hurt.

They hurt a lot.

No, seriously.

A LOT!

Anyhow, long story short, had a CT scan and they said the stone was small (felt like Mick Jagger in army boots to me)...
