Ugh! Met Lisa LATE today to run in the rain. I got SO lost because I clicked the map link on the park page (the park where I was going to meet her) and they put in 131st Ave and it's really on 131st Street. Um...totally different location, KIDS! So we had a shorter run than planned. I thought about continuing on to do a total of seven, but yesterday was supposed to only be four and I did six. I'll do six tomorrow and make up the two miles Sunday with at least ten. I hate to do long runs of less than ten anyhow.

I swear I am STILL cold! We did 4.25 miles in 39 min, though. Good pace and good conversation and hey, when it rains the trail is clear!

I also swam this morning 2250 in 50 minutes, which is faster than my 2100 on Wednesday, but I took less breaks today (longer drills; 200s and stuff, not a lot of 25s and 50s). It was a good swim. I worked hard on building speed. Not sure I succeeded, but oh well!

Wow, I went to the WWers website. I was trying to find my success story there so I could send a picture to my grandma. She has this Presto Machine that gets emails and prints them (like a FAX, but it's only one way). So I try to email her every week. Anyhow, long story short, I was lazy to just put my name in the search box to find the story and found that some nice person had posted about my Today Show appearance. So of course I read...and wish I hadn't. Now I remember why I don't hang out on those message boards! There are some really sad, mean-spirited women on there. It started to hurt my feelings, but then I remembered that none of them even know who I am. They're just mean for the sake of being mean and getting pats on the backs from their rude loser friends.

Honestly, it is sad. I mean I can be a b-word along with the best of them, but I'd never do it just for sport!

Oh well... I found my story and sent a pic to my Grandma. She'll get a kick out of that. I wish I could PM the member who posted the original story and thank her for being kind and trying.
