View MSTEECHUR's food & exercise for this day
You know how sometimes you just have a great day. I had a great day. I got up this morning and I "interfaced with my clients" LOL! I'm having SO much fun being an online trainer. I just love getting to know people and waking up knowing that I'll have some emails in my box that I can reply to. Today I set up a new triathlon training for one of my clients, which made me want to do another one myself. I love just getting to know them.
Then Roy and I went for a run and I turned down a shortcut, which I normally don't do. I was thinking "Why did I turn down here?" when Roy said "Oh look! A deer!" There in a field in the middle of town (right next to an elementary school) was not only a doe, but two fawn! OMG what a blessing!
We watched them for awhile, then ran on to the park where we went through the community garden. Everything was so beautiful! Then we ran down to see the turtles sunning themselves in the pond...cute. We saw tadpoles, sunning THEMselves on the ledge just under the water. We even saw a great big garter snake!
After the run we grabbed the dogs and took them to a new dog park. It's SO much fun watching them play. We took Dash through the agility course and by the second time, he had half of them down even going up over that tall structure with the slats! After wearing him out on that, we took them down to the river and waded around for a bit.
I worked on curriculum in the afternoon, and then tonight coached my new runners. I'm loving this. I just SO hope I can make a go of this because it just is SO exciting to see people do things they never thought they could or would do!! One is even talking taking my marathon training! Wahoo! My goal is to make it fun for them, give them something they can take away (we had a shoe seminar today with great discounts), and make them realize "Huh, I really CAN do this!" I hope I'm succeeding.
Tomorrow I'll get up at 4:30 and meet some friends for a 5:00 a.m. run. I haven't done that in forever, but school is about to start and I need to get back in gear!
