Healing

I am feeling really good today! I feel like, at times, the healing is slow but I do know why. I think the part that is getting me the most is the lack of energy. Yesterday, though, I went out for a 1.75 mile walk, then we went to Costco, Target, and Best Buy. I got some yoga pants to wear to work next week. The hematoma is shrinking, but I still can't fit my pants. I have a pair of overalls, one pair of yoga pants, and a pair of really low riding pants with a tie that I can fit. That's it! LOL!...

I've had the week from HELL!Tuesday (last) I went in for hernia surgery. Simple, right? Not if it's on me, darn it! When he got in he found more hernias than anticipated and had to go under the muscle to put in a 6x8 piece of mesh. So it was supposed to be an hour, but took 3.5 hours. Poor Roy was so worried because he didn't know what was going on!
I was pretty out of it Tuesday, and Wednesday was SO nauseous I couldn't even sit up without wanting to lose what little I'd eaten. Of co...

Tuesday I am going into the hospital to have some hernias repaired. I'll be in there for 4-7 days (hoping closer to four) because the hernias are along a vertical incision that goes from my sternum to my belly button and they're going to cut out the entire thing.So pretty much, Christmas and "holiday fun" was to be this weekend. I am signed up for a marathon tomorrow. We planned to get a hotel room, have a great carbo-loading dinner, and maybe see a Christmas movie. Tomorrow Roy ...

Okay who turned off the heat in Washington?!I woke up this morning to the sound of *plunk* *plunk* *plunk*. WT?
Finally realized someone was messaging me on Gmail, so I got up because I knew it had to be Ryan, my nephew. Since I heart Ryan berry berry much and I hardly ever get to talk to him because he's 3 hours difference from me, I got up to chat.
