Ok, I am NOT say this because the NFL playoffs were on LOL. I was actually looking forward to it....and then it happened. MIGRAINE!!!!!! I haven't had one in so long and no advil or anything in the house (not that it would help). So I was laying down alot. I managed to get my green check, but was low in my sugars, carbs and protein. The Weigh In

Well, with much anticipation and warnings not to be discouraged if you gain a little at first, I weighed myself. WOO HOO! I lost 2 lbs!!!! My inches are a little wacky...I think I may be measuring in different places each time. But all in all I really feel good.

Today, however, poses a challenge. My b/f has put off grocery shopping until tonight and there is very little to eat. Challenge number 1: How to eat when there is nothing to eat.....

Too Much....Just Too Much

OMG.....I don't have much in the way of healthy food in the house (I'm eating myself out of house and home LOL).....I am going grocery shopping tomorrow. You'd never know it by my diary. I looked at my nutrient levels and uh oh....fiber is over, fat is over, sugar is over.....looks like a bad day......and it's not going to get any better. I had some chips - 7 to be exact....just needed to have a little something. I also need to cut back on the psyllium husks....they put me over my fiber limi...

Another Day

Ok, today I am trying to keep my fats down. Seems to be a problem area for me, so less processed foods, less flax seed oil suppliments and more fresh stuff....lets see if I can do a little better today...and I'm talking reducing the bad fats not the good ones.....mostly.....I also noticed that my suggested caloric intake went up. I think this is because of my activity level. CK suggests 20-30 mins a day and I do 45 mins. I just can't help myself....when I'm not overweight, I usually do 2-4 h...

OMG Steak!

I just had the best steak EVER! however, it wasn't lean....a little fatty....it wasn't in the database.....what we had was a Delmonico steak, charcoal grilled outside on our hibachi. Mmmmmm.....now I don't eat red meat very often....although my doctor wants me to eat more for the iron content and protein, but I can get that from so many other foods, with way less calories.
