Well, I was pleasantly surprised today when I decided to weigh in...expecting a gain not a loss....and then it happened! WOW! I lost 3 pounds! WOO HOO!!!!! I don't know what happened but I was thrilled. I even double checked the scale LOL....just wanted to make sure that I wasn't deluding myself.

I think I have hit a plateau....I have not lost any weight....and it's almost time to weigh in. I have roughly 15 pounds to go....this sucks, but I will just have to adjust what I am eating and push on with the exercise. Any suggestions?

Ok, I think my scale is trying to put me on an ego trip. It seems that every time I look I have lost some weight. My b/f steps on it and its the same, so I know that is not just "out". I am encouraged because I AM losing weight, but I am also learning to enjoy foods that I had not been eating. I am experimenting with different veggie replacements for some meats in different recipies and it's been fun....

Well, I won't be around that much this weekend...have some activities planned with the kids and my niece. My mother is coming too so it should be fun! I'm really looking forward to it. BUT....now we are eating out and I have no idea the calorie count for Chinese foods etc. So, I'm going to try and look it up, as I don't want to go over. THE CHALLENGE BEGINS!
