I broke it! The scale....
Okay I didn't really break the scale, but I did break the 400 Lbs mark on the scale. Even though I pigged out early, early this morning on a PB&J Sammich. I was starving and had to have something so I fixed me one I guess about 3 AM. I woke up this morning around 10 AM and the scale came in at 399.4 Lbs.
I fixed three Kashi GOLean blueberry waffles this morning with sugar-free syrup, Only 340 calories, and then a little while later I dropped a bomb in the toilet, and my weight has only went up .4 lbs so at lunch time (the time of this blog) I weighed in at 399.8 Lbs. I fear my time in the 300's will be short lived today, but that's okay because I'm still focusing on the prize, not the little immediate victories. My tummy growls at me, time to eat something I guess. So I ventured into the kitchen and grabbed all of the salad components. I ran out of cucumbers, boo-hiss!
Lunch today was a nice healthy yet filling salad consisting of fresh romaine lettuce, onion, tomato, red, yellow, and green bell peppers, diced green onions, an ounce of fresh crumbled feta cheese, 10 large cajun boiled shrimp, de-veined and shelled (of course!) and about 2 1/2 Tbsp of Bolthouse Farms Balsamic Vinaigrette (40 calories) and 6 KA-ME Rice crackers (30 calories). That salad is just as good if you can get a hold of a lemon pepper baked chicken. Cut it into strips for a very healthy and filling topping for the salad. Shrimp is just as filling yet fewer cals. though. I certainly do not plan or hope to ever get anywhere near 400 ever again, and the same for 300! HELL NO! Once I lose the fat the only way I'll be close to 300 again will be because of muscle mass.<br>

I've been doing better than I thought Scott, I keep swaying between 399 and 402 all week long. I got a couple of days before weigh-in and I need to do something to push it over the top. I don't have a cajun or southern accent (thank god) so I pronounce it boiled lol...

I don't even like seafood but that salad looks delish! Congrats on breaking the scale! That is one number you will never go over again so just remember that

Thats awesome dude!! Yeah, tomorrow might see a little bit to the plus side of 400, but you have broken the barrier, so keep up the good work, and you will gradually spend more time below the 400 mark, until someday soon it will be way off in the distance in your rear-view mirror.
;). We have about 4 bottles of liquid crab-shrimp boil at home, so that's a good way to put it to use.
Kick ass salad!! I'm gonna have to try making one of those when I get home. I LOVE Cajun Boiled Shrimp (I remember the locals calling it "bawwld shrimp"

Sorry to hear that you're alergic to shellfish Leslie. That sucks because I love shrimp, and crab. Those are two of my fav seafoods. Tara I can't understand why you can't see the picture it's there.... hmm. And Patti that salad was awesome. I made another one for tonight at work but without the shrimp, I ran out.

Congrats on being in the 3's.
Your salad looks de-lish. My lunch went in trash today (my motto - life's too short to eat bad food), so I ended up in my snacks, beef jerkey, one Laughing Cow triangle and two crackers. Followed by some trail mix about 2 hours later. I'm drooling here over your good looking salad.
