Here I go again.... (White Snake pops to mind). After almost two weeks off from working out I went back into the gym again today. I was a bit apprehensive but knew that I needed it bad, and knew that by the time I was done I would be happier. See almost two weeks ago we had Black Spring Break here, and over 30,000 african-american college students swarmed the gulf coast, primarily my city's beach, so we had to beef up manpower and my co-worker and I agreed to not deal with the gym and let all of...

I'm not even trying. I'm just eating the same way I have been for these last 3 months now and the calorie target is staying in place for the most part, and the weight just keep dropping. It's been a busy couple of days and I didn't get to eat all of my calories as usual but I try to get it into the green as much as possible.

This afternoon I had to weigh myself for my weekly CK weigh-in. 381! YEAH!!! 381!!!! I was going to be happy with 383 or even so more with 382 which it had been a coup...

Feeling the burn

Just finished my second work out at the gym. First workout was on Friday the 9th of April, and all Friday night, Saturday, and Sunday I was pretty sore. Monday wasn't so bad but I still had a little soreness in the arms. My workout partner and the person who has the membership to the Gym was busy so we didn't work out on Monday which worked out better for me.

So we made plans for today (Tuesday 13th) as soon as he got off work. Yes I woke up at 5 AM to meet him as he was getting off work. ...

My arms are finally starting to feel normal again, the soreness isn't as bad as the first two days after lifting weights. My workout partner called me last night to see how I was doing and we're gonna go back to the gym on Tuesday morning. I lost 4 lbs this week. Last weigh-in I was 389 lbs and this morning when I got up I weighed in at 385 lbs, so I made that my official weekly weigh-in weight. Even though I know I'll lose another pound tomorrow, but that always starts to fluctuate up and down ...

Arms of steel...

I'm a long way off from having arms of steel. But I reminded myself for two hours today when I was in a local gym (Planet Fitness) with a co-worker who invited me to come work out with him that all of these people here around me started out exactly where I am at right now. My limit may of only been lifting 15 lbs weights on a bar a few reps at a time, but it certainly woke my arms up.

They claim Planet Fitness is the judgment free zone, and that may be so, but it still doesn't stop anxiety...
