Thursday, May 13 2010 - The more I give to you, the more I die And I want you. You are the perfect drug.

I swear I'm about to take this scale out to the range and shoot it with every bullet I can find. This evil, evil nasty contraption is about to work my last nerve. It's past three weeks now and I'm not moving down, and in fact have gained. First it was two pounds on Monday and here it is Thursday and now I'm staying stuck on 384. 4 M'F'ing pounds?!?!?!!

*Takes a deep breath*

I swear I'm not over-eating, I haven't changed anything I do or eat over the last 5 months now. I should be losing. I've been trying to drink more water to try and flush out whatever hell-bent mineral is keeping me from seeing happy little numbers. Where's Bob Ross when I need him the most? He could paint me happy little numbers.

I'm on Hydrocodone right now so I might say some things not in my right mind yeah. Toothache it fixes. I take one, and the pain goes away. On a better note, I'm two days away from buying my ticket to TOOL. I get to see TOOL again. Haven't seen them since 2002. It's the only thing making me feel good this month, that and the hydrocodone, it's the perfect drug.

Don't give up, you are doing great. It's hard when that damn scale doesn't work in our favor! But you keep doing what you doing and one morning you are going to wake up and LOVE the # that pops on that screen.

You have lost 40 pounds. Sometimes at the 20 or 30 pound mark, the body stalls. It happened to me at 20 pound loss. I was even eating less and doing more, and the scale didn't move. Then one day, two pounds off in one day, and things started happening again.
Just keep doing what you are doing and wait it out: your body is just holding on the weight. If you really are doing what you say, IT WILL COME OFF AND PROBABLY IN A VERY BIG WAY ALL OF A SUDDEN

Patti, it's not the drugs, I've only taken 3 of them since getting prescribed them on Monday. It's something else going on. I'm eating the same things I've been eating ever since I started this thing. Not eating junk, not had any fast food since January, it's all home-prepared fish/chicken/lean beef and soups, pasta, salads, fresh produce and sugar free snacks, no sodas just water. I know my sodium is still up there in the 2000mg+ levels a day on an average. Some days they're below 2000mg but not often. That's why I've been drinking more water and taking a prescription fluid pill.

Tara I'm not giving up hah-hah no way! Just :@ing right now. You can still try to find the money to fly over. I'll take you on a tour of New Orleans.

Dude, I'm going to come over there and shoot that thing for you and I don't even like guns. Where is my damn words of wisdom when I need them.

Whatever you do, don't give up. Cause I don't have enough money to buy a ticket to your house and kick your ass.

P.S. Bob Ross FTW!

No shooting things while you are on drugs! :afraid2:
Seriously though, sometimes meds interfer so that might be the culprit.
Are you getting the best bang for your buck nutritionally speaking?
Hang in there.
