View NEXUSNRG's food & exercise for this day

Here it is the end of the month, almost 30 days since my last blog entry and I'm still sitting at 360 lbs. It's not been a great month losing weight and even though I'm a bit discouraged I'm not stopping. Things just aren't happening as quickly as in the beginning. So I keep on moving, and dreaming of that distant goal I have.

You've done great if you've been maintaining the past several weeks without being able to exercise. That number's already sliding down. Keep it up. I've missed seeing you around lately.

Well I started to lose weight again yesterday right after I had posted this blog entry heh. I'm back down to 358. So I hope this plateau is over for a little while. I'd like to see me back into the 350's come weigh-in on Monday. :)

I think that if you have been hurt and unable to exercise and you have managed to stay where you started when you got hurt that is amazing. that in it's self is a a great accomplishment. I know it is frustrating( :bang: ) Hang in there you are worth all the hard work

foot's been hurting too much, limping on it when I do walk. I haven't been to the gym in 3 weeks. I take measurements too and they pretty much are remaining in the same spot all month long.

I agree, take those measurements! Sometimes it doesn't show up on the scale. Hang in there!

yeah it's a plateau. I'm sure I'll break it eventually. It's just the only thing I can b*tch about right now on my blog. That and being lonely but that's a whole other story.

yeah maintaining is good, but I have so much more left to lose. I just keep doing what I'm doing because I know it'll start back up again. Thanks everyone for the comments! :)

I am at a dead halt too... I keep going up and down 3 pounds this month. I don't know what it is but it's driving me nuts!
The good part is that you are maintaining! So you are in control!

I've had a month here where I have lost nothing or I lost 2lbs. Remember even if you are still at 360, you are still 360 and not 425. I know it's discouraging after many months of the weight coming off, but if you stay the same weight or you lose even a pound its still good!!! I read up on Plateaus when I had one where I wasn't losing at all. It was really helpful

You haven't failed until you stop trying. Taking things slow and just maintaining for a while is not a bad strategy. After all, you will have to maintain your ultimate weight loss for the rest of your life, so you may as well start practicing.
