It's been a while since I posted in my blog. I've actually gotten a private message asking me about it. I apologize to those who read and enjoy it for my absence. I've found that if I don't come on here and post in my journal it usually means that I've had an unexpected undesired result in my weight loss for the week.

Captain Kirk once was attacked by a salt monster, and now so am I. Sodium is foremost on my mind this week, and I'm not too happy with it. Kirk's salt monster (pictured here) was ugly, with suction cups all over it's hands that would suck the salt right out of your body in a couple of minutes.

CK Has become my anchor in this sea of decadence. This bombardment of bad food and drinks. I've been here now since the middle of January and I'm no longer in the 400's thank God, and thank Calorie King! This place has given me the tools and has sustained my motivation to keep doing what I have been doing to lose weight. Yesterday (Monday) was my weekly weigh-in day, and I came in at 398.0 Lbs. I've been holding steady at the 399 Lbs mark for most of this week. This morning I went back to 402.4 Lbs but after sleeping it came back down to 399.4 Lbs. I have three days remaining until my official weekly weigh-in so I'm not too worried. Even if I don't lose any weight this week I'm not going to throw up my arms in disgust. As long as I keep doing what I've done this past month, and try to maintain as close to 1500 calories as I can and control my hunger with smart food choices I'll be fi...
