I have been feeling yucky lately-sore throat, runny nose, sneezing. But as a mom of young boys there is no time to be sick. Today was no exception. But right around nap time, I really started feeling awful. After the boys went down for their nap, I made myself do my WATP walking workout. I kept telling myself I'd feel better after the workout, even though I suspected I had a fever. I was right about both things. I did have a fever, but I did feel a little better after working out. Luckily, it was a light workout. I went to bed and took a nap until the kids woke up when I was finished walking. What a good reward! I think another thing that helped me push myself to exercise was the winter walking challenge. I plan to keep up with that challenge and I wasn't going to miss it on the first day! I can't say I really observed anything since I was mostly trying to get throught the workout and was feeling pretty lousy. I guess I did observe how much more room we have since we put the coffee table away. I loved that for this workout especially.
I feel better since sleeping, but I know I'm not done with this cold yet.
My food was better today-I'm staying within my calorie range, which is more than I could say for the last 2 days. I don't know what has been up with me, but I'm definitely doing some emotional eating lately. Actually, I thing I ate more yesterday because I didn't feel good and I was trying to find something to make me feel better. Food didn't help. I should have drank more water. Well, at least I know now. Still learning.
