I had a great day today and I really needed that. Neither Collin or I had school. So we went to work out at the Y (or I did, the kids were in childcare

). I wanted to be careful on my knee so I did more bike than usual for cardio. Then I swam for 10 minutes. It was only 10 minutes, but boy did it kick my butt. I had to take short breaks between laps, but it was great. I felt so good and at peace. I think part of it had to do with such a great workout. So I think I'm going to swim more often as part of my cardio. Maybe soon I'll be able to do more than 10 minutes!
My husband even commented when he got home that I was in a good mood. (Has my funky mood been showing lately?)
I ate jelly beans today, but didn't overdo it too much. When the jelly beans are gone, I'm cutting out candy completely for a while. Then I'll decide what sugary food needs to go next. I love my protein bars! I'll have to decide what to do about those.
Well, I had better get to work on that paper.
