Alright! I did it! Day 1 of my no candy campaign went well. Went to my mother in laws and did not grab a mini snickers or the peanut butter cookies she made for us. Also told her we don't need them at home because Collin and Chris won't eat them and guess who would eat them all. And those little bugars are at least 5 grams of fat per cookie!
One thing I did have trouble with today-I was hungry. I didn't make dinner tonight since I had school. I ate a protein bar on the way and had an apple and some soy nuts while I was there. But when I got home I felt hungry for some real dinner, so I had leftover chicken and mashed potatoes. Which was fine-I'm under my net for the day, but there's no room for icecream! I wonder what I should do different. I need to think about it.
I am so excited that I'm starting to see muscle definition in my body. I had been noticing it in my butt and legs, but this morning I bent my arm and really felt a bulge from my bicept. When I showed my husband, he was impressed and that's saying something. He laughed at me the last time I thought I was building some muscle, so I know he's serious. He says I'm inspiring him to workout. I hope he does start exercising again. Just so he's healthier. But seeing results to my hard work helped me stay focused today. It's nice to finally see some results. I don't think I've ever been this toned, but then I don't think I've ever exercised this consistently.
