I was over my calorie target today, but I did not do any emotional eating :). I was simply hungry. I had a sandwich on gluten free bread today and that bread is so high in calories. So I didn't plan an afternoon snack. Just sandwich and a pear for lunch and had planned to eat a protein bar and apple at school during class to hold me until I could get some real dinner at home. Well, I ended up snacking between lunch and dinner. Not horribly unhealthy thing-just some peanuts, crackers with some peanut butter, and later a few grapes. The bad thing is when I had chips with my dinner later in the evening. Not planned, but my hubby brought them out and they sounded (and tasted) so good. I don't even know how many I had so I may be even more over my calories than is in my log :(.
I'm thinking about doing maintanance calories on the weekends. It's so hard for me to eat under my calorie target and when I go over, I then say, what the heck, and go into a full binge. If I plan for more calories, I don't think I'll go crazy. Plus I don't usually exercise on Sundays so I need the extra calories on those days. We'll see. I'm still thinking about it.
I hate my paper. I must work on it, but it's 10:45. Not going to work on it tonight. My husband may give me some time on Sunday to work on it. We are supposed to go on a date on Saturday. I'm so excited about it. A night out! It's a miracle.

Enjoy your date!!! I think switching to maintenance calories for the weekend is a wise idea. That might help with the sugar binges.
