I'm just so upset. I got the results of my blood work today and it looks like thyroid disorder. I know that's minor and fixable with medication. But I'm so tired of having medical problems. First sphinter of Oddi dysfunction (and surgery for that), then celiac disease (with my boys also having it) and now this. I'm only 32. I don't thing I should be having this many health problems. I know there are people with worse medical conditions, so I start to feel guilty about being upset. But I'm still upset.
Ugh. and I have a midterm exam tonight that I am not ready for. I have to go get the kids ready right now. My goal is to not eat over this issue. I do not want to nurture myself with food. It will only make me feel worse, no better.
Oh, I forgot that in January I was also diagnosed with Osteopenia-the beginnings of Osteroperosis. How fun is all of this?

Oh my goodness, Nikki, I cannot believe this. I wonder if all of these things are somehow related to one another. It just seems crazy that you would be hit by all this at the same time. One thing I do believe is that every thing does happen for a reason, so give yourself some time to have a pity party and then try to find the reason. God can teach you something through this mess and bring you out of it stronger and healthier and better than you were before! Know that I'm here for ya, and I'm praying for ya. ((HUGS))

Nikki,, I just happened across your journal this morning. You certainly have a full load of medical issues going on. I'm so sorry. Do not feel guilty that others have it worse, because this is happening to you and it's still a lot to deal with. It's good that this is fixable but still it is another thing. Make a list of the good things that are going on right now. Hang in there and I hope your exam went well. :)
